Frequently asked questions
Choose a password type (Mixed Word, Random, Memorable, or PIN), adjust the options to your liking, then tap Generate. Tap Copy to copy the result to your clipboard.
Mixed Word — memorable words combined with symbols and numbers, balancing security and readability.

Random Password — maximum entropy using uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Best for high-security accounts.

Memorable Password — full words joined by a separator, easy to type and remember.

PIN Code — short numeric codes for devices, doors, and quick unlock flows.
Presets let you save your favourite settings so you can reapply them instantly. Tap Save Preset to save your current configuration, or Manage Presets to rename, reorder, or delete them. If you have iCloud enabled, presets sync automatically across all your devices.
Go to Advanced Settings and tap Set Password. Once a password is set, you can optionally enable Face ID or Touch ID for quicker access. App Lock protects your recent password history and settings from being viewed by others.
When enabled, the app automatically clears your clipboard after a set number of seconds — but only if it still contains the last password you copied. This reduces the risk of a password being accidentally pasted somewhere unintended. You can adjust the timer or disable it in Advanced Settings.
Yes. Password Generator 26 generates all passwords entirely on your device and makes no network requests. It works fully offline at all times.
No. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No account is required. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Go to Advanced Settings and tap Manage Presets. From there you can export your preset list to share or back it up.
iCloud sync requires that iCloud Drive is enabled on all your devices. Go to Settings › [Your Name] › iCloud › iCloud Drive and make sure it's turned on. Also check that your devices are signed into the same Apple ID.
Unfortunately there is no way to recover a forgotten App Lock password, as it is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device and is not accessible to us. You can delete and reinstall the app to reset it, though this will also clear your local history and settings.
